Elsie Harriet Patriquen Swain, age 92, died Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at Cedar Crest Health Care Center. Elsie was born April 6, 1922, in Orfordville, WI, the daughter of Thomas and Ella (Thoen) Thorson. She graduated from Orfordville High School in 1940. Elsie married Tennis Allen Patriquen on March 22, 1946. Tennis died October 10, 1968. She, then, married Jewell Tennis Swain on June 19, 1971. He preceded her in death on January 26, 1997. She worked as a teller at Farmers and Merchants Bank for many years, retiring in 1992. Elsie was a life long member of Orfordville Lutheran Church. Elsie is survived by her son; three daughters; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; and brother, Thomas Francis (Tink) Thorson. Burial in Orfordville Lutheran Cemetery. Newcomer-Silverthorn Funeral Home.
