Nancy Crandall Hatch, 75, of Fort Atkinson, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2010, at Fort Memorial Hospital. Nancy was born on Nov. 12, 1934, in Fort Atkinson, daughter of the late Robert Fleming Sr. and Gladys Howard (Schultz). She loved needlepointing and embroidering, and was a big Matt Kenseth fan. Nancy worked part-time for 20 years at the Larson Canning Co., then retired from Countryside Home after working there for 23 years. After retirement, she began to work for Opportunities Inc. until she became sick. Nancy is survived by her children, David (Tina) Crandall, Linda (Rick) Stroede, Susan Crandall and Anthony (Lisa) Crandall, all of Fort Atkinson, and Charles (Susan) Crandall of High Springs, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert (Jean) Fleming Jr. and James (Therese) Fleming, all of Fort Atkinson; and a sister-in-law, Judy Fleming of Milton. She also was preceded in death by her previous husbands, Russell A. Crandall and William Hatch; a brother, Charles Fleming; and a grandson, Cody David Crandall. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 16, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson with the Rev. Bryan Engfer officiating. Friends may call from 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the church until the time of service. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Fort Memorial Hospital Sub Acute Unit. Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson is assisting the family with arrangments.
