Carolyn M. Lamb, 87, of Edgerton, died May 15 at St. Mary's Hospital, Madison.
Carolyn (Max) (nee Page) Eklund Lamb passed away peacefully May 15, 2023 surrounded by family and special friend Ron who has been by her side for several years. Born August 10, 1935 to O. Gordon and Lillian (Dahl) Page. She graduated from Stoughton High School and attended various business colleges. Leander (Lee) Eklund was first to capture her heart in 1953; James (Jim) Lamb captured her heart again in 2004. She owned three businesses for 10 years in Janesville. She worked for Highway Trailer, Edgerton Memorial Hospital, Dana Corporation and retired from the State of Wisconsin. After retirement she enjoyed working with her second husband, Jim, in promotional advertising. Through the years Carolyn was an active member of several organizations. She received several Jaycettes CAROL awards, named Wisconsin's Outstanding Young Woman, Goodwill Ambassador for Forward Janesville and a member of Central Lutheran Church. Max, as she is known to us, loved butter pecan ice cream, trips to the cabin with Ron, spending time with family and friends, and watching cardinals and feeding the birds. She is predeceased by her parents, husbands Lee and Jim, siblings Gerald (Kathleen) Page, Lorraine (Albert) Starks, infant Charles Page and beloved dog Bandit. A visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at CENTRAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, Edgerton. Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 10th at the CHURCH. Carolyn's grandson, Chaplain Jay Tobin will officiate. Interment will follow in Fassett Cemetery, Edgerton where Carolyn will be laid to rest by her first husband, Lee Eklund.
